Progress

This meme...
My goodness it's been a while and I'm not going to lie to you and tell you I've been keeping up with everyone. I get there and then I realized as I start to read that I got out of work almost 2 hours late and have about 5 hours of sleep to be had... I do hope that everyone is doing well though! It's been pretty darn gorgeous around here.

Brantley and I are back to full work and I couldn't be happier. I gave him the first week to get through ground work boot camp and one day I was just, "F#$@ it... I need to get on." And we've been pretty gung-ho since. Finally the rest of the ice and snow melted and we got to take the outdoor by storm. Switched him to a full-cheek Happy Mouth since steering with his snaffle was well... Non-existent. But he's completely loving the chance and it's like we haven't missed a day.

He's been pretty quick but after our long ride in the dark the other night (I started late and half way through my ride the sun went away... But I was too lazy to get off and go in the indoor) we finally started to get our cruise back. Tonight he was even better. Trail ride with W & Elijah on Sunday... First adventure of 2015. Bring it!

Conformation April 2015? #nailed it
We did try to take a conformation shot since I fell way behind and well... This is how it turned out. I think he was not impressed I was using my cell phone vs. a real camera. What a princess...

It's all you need.
Really enjoying my time with him at HSF. I am still working with a couple of other horses and some of the girls there, but it's really giving me time just to focus on me and Brantley. My soul doesn't hurt anywhere near as much as it did over the winter. Won't do that again. But alas, the end is near and we are headed back to Tavern beginning of May. It's just a much better situation for him and if I keep working the way I am, I'll be able to truck over and hang out with my new friends whenever! Plus I think I'll go back come Winter... which I know we all hope it never comes.

I'm so perfect, I don't need a tech to hold me.
Chevy is doing awesome per usual. Passed his annual exam with flying colors and impressed the staff (which I work with every day) with his awesome obedience skills. We're slowly getting back to our hikes and got to have a play date with Ms. K and Cairo. Staying with Rider all next week so he'll be in for a treat and lots of run time without the snow. And Mitch is Mitch... Perfection.

I'm not going to lie. This had been our motto for the past few weeks.

It's hard to just babble without pictures... I need a personal photographer.
Easy way would be getting a boyfriend but... Let's be honest.

At least I have friends that understand.
