2016

To start I wanted to do a quick shout out to my Secret Santa because she's just incredibly awesome in every way. Thanks for being you! Check out Four Mares. No Money

I can't believe it's taken me this long for a 2016 post! Especially because 2015 was so amazing for Brantley and I. I think we connected on a whole level that I wasn't expecting. We kicked major ass at all our hunter paces and mastered walk/trot bareback sessions, which is huge. That's something I had always had with Lucky, just hop on and go around the ring... I wasn't sure how long it was going to take with Brantley to get there but, that's all we've been doing lately.

I've been going through a pretty rough patch the last few months and really missing Lucky, but being able to just sit and think of all the things Brantley and I have accomplished this year? It's more than LB and I ever did. It's less about the horse and more outside issues wearing me down so that my coping skills are not working as well as they should.

2016 is going to epic. I just know it. 

I don't know what it will bring or the experiences we will have but it's going to be incredible.

And I'm not too worried about the Winter Blues either.
