Wedding & Hunter Pace Season
It's been a tough run the last couple months. I know I mentioned a bad day that lasted a couple weeks in my last post, but it just keeps continuing. So because I can't go work it out in the gym and run from it... I just decided you know what? I'm not wasting any more time on people who treat me less of a person than I've discovered that I am. It's not worth it. So I've been focusing on spending time with people that I love and make me feel like I am actually worth something.
Spent my birthday in Maine for Kathy's Bachelorette party which I was super psyched about because I got to see one of my best friends who moved a few years back to start her family. She's been a huge supporter in mostly everything that I do. I think we made everyone jealous talking about all the shenanigans we went through together when we were younger and when she appeared out of nowhere to help me get through Lucky. I am so grateful for this girl and I can't wait to see her again this weekend.
I only stayed until Saturday night because the WGHA Hunter Pace #3 was that Sunday and I couldn't wait to get back to spend the day with Wendy. Another amazing girl that I am so grateful to have in my life. I can't say it enough, especially when I'm with her. I never thought I'd have the horse friends I have now and they make me feel like I can do anything.
Happy Birthday to Me!
WE PLACED FIRST!
A few weeks went by and I packed up the car and travelled to Pennsylvania to this beautiful little inn to celebrate another one of my amazing horsie friends!
Per usual I've been working like a mad-woman and really getting chained back into working... too much. But with some truck issues and a few quiet weeks/weekends, you've got to do what you've got to do right? We're getting through September with almost flying colors anyway - just a week or two to go. Then Tough Mudder which I am so far from ready for. My body has definitely slowed down in progress, if not stopped all together. Falling back into that not making time for myself. Luckily things are getting a bit back to "normal" as my normal can be.
